Guaranteed QoS Pod

Scenario cka-wkl-006 · about 4 minutes · 4 points · 6 grader checks

Create a Pod whose resource settings place it in the Guaranteed QoS class.

  • qos
  • resources
  • requests
  • limits
  • workloads

What you will practise

  • Set CPU and memory requests and limits
  • Understand QoS class assignment rules
  • Read the assigned qosClass

Start this lab

With the CLI installed and signed in, this command provisions a single node cluster on your Mac, applies the scenario setup and prints the task below.

goldenkube start cka-wkl-006

Task

The task text exactly as the CLI shows it. Solve it on the cluster, then run goldenkube submit.

In namespace "default", create a Pod named "qos-guaranteed" using image nginx:1.27 whose QoS class is Guaranteed (set memory 128Mi and cpu 250m as both requests and limits). The Pod must be Running.
